H1This year (2017) we had 35 gardens open over the weekend including a restored water-meadow and a wild flower meadow
H1There were more 1,000 than visitors.
H1We had 6 group visits, 4 in coaches, one from as far away as Plymouth.
H1The plant stall was well stocked wih perennials and shrubs and, as usual, it provided visitors with bargain plants.
H1Afternoon teas in St Mary's Church were catered for by the youth club. The church was a cool haven for vistors over the extremely warm weekend.
H1Next year's Open Gardens is on 16 and 17 June.
RDAMore than £3000 will be donated to each of the nominated charities: the Cerne Valley Young Peoples Trust and the Miss Bush Riding for the Disabled Group.
